Attitude!

A wonderful post by Charles Swindle on Attitude, I may have posted it before but its worth posting multiple times πŸ˜‰

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude… I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you… we are in charge of our attitudes.

Human Rules!!!

Ok, so what are the rules for being human?? Yes!! Cherie Carter-Scott mentioned ten rules for being human in his website. Awesome and truthful list of rules….lets hear them:

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.
2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.”
3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately “work.”
4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5. Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
6. There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.”
7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10. You will forget all this.

Funny Answeing Messages!!

I found some wonderful funny answering machine messages here.

Following are few I really liked:

1. Hi, we aren’t in at the moment, if you are trying to sell us something please start speaking now and hang up at the beep, everyone else start speaking at the beep and hang up when you’ve finished.

2. Roses are red, violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet, and so are you
The roses have wilted, the violets are dead,
The sugar bowl’s empty, and so is your head
The roses stink, sorta like sheep
But leave your name, number, and message after the beep
The roses are molding, the violets are rotten
And I might call you back, if I haven’t forgotten

3. These words are lovely dark and deep
But I’ve got promises to keep
and miles to go before I sleep
So leave a message at the beep.

4. A is for academics, B is for beer. One of those reasons is why we’re not here. So leave a message.

5. We’re not in cause we’re out LOOTING! Leave a message and we’ll call you back and tell you what we got.

6. We’re sorry. You have reached an imaginary number. Please rotate your phone 90 degrees and try again.

The Easiest IQ Test :P

I was stumbling through articles online and found this interesting image (Please click the image below to see the real moving image). Well, if you look at the image you may see its either moving clockwise or counter clockwise. Well, the interesting this is both are true. If you see its moving clockwise you are using your right brain otherwise left brain.

You may see both !! But the IQ test here is ( πŸ˜‰ ) if you can make it switch between two different views without shifting your gaze then your IQ should be 160 – genius IQ!! Interestingly I could do it and now my IQ is 160 πŸ˜›

I would say, this is the most amazing (easy) IQ test ever πŸ˜€ (I am sure most people can do it)

Once Again Note: Please click the image below to see the real moving image
