We somehow manage to live each day ..somehow pass each day….we have good times…we have bad times…when we have bad times…we eihter BREAK down, we cry..we frustrate.. otherwise we try to look forward for HOPE…try to believe that the dark cloud will move and we will see sunshine soon….
Whatever it is…time passes by….our moves …our thoughts…our actions define tomorrow…whether we perform bad/good….time goes on…we do whatever we can…and one day we reach DEATH…closing this passing by chapter ……we end this phase of our living-this-life…
The journey of life ends leaving many stories behind…

Found this nice list of rules of life from some online resource:
You have a body. You may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for as long as you live. How you take care of it – or fail to take care of it – can make an enormous difference to the quality of your life.
You learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time, informal school called Life. Each day, you will be presented with opportunities to learn what you need to know. The lessons presented are often completely different from those you think you need.
There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error and experimentation. You can learn as much from failure as you can from success. I know you have heard this many times, and that’s because it is true.
A lesson is repeated until it is learned. Each lesson is presented to you in various forms until you have learned it.
Learning lessons does not end. There is no stage of life that does not contain some lessons. As long as you live there will be something more to learn.
Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself. When tempted to criticize others, ask yourself why you feel so strongly.
What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you create with those tools and resources is up to you.
The answers lie inside of you. The answer to life’s eternal questions lie within your grasp. All you need to do is ask, look, listen and receive.

Today I attended a Luncheon with Friends of Adhunika. It was lovely event and I got the opportunity to meet many new people. I met all the people that I already knew through Drishtipath, Adhunika or Facebook but never saw them before. I knew them by name or I have seen some of their pictures. So this meeting was a wonderful opprtunity for me to really meeting those people finally
All of them are involved in so many extra curricular activities and they support several issues through either blog support or some other activities. This is the first time I attended such cultural event and it was GREAT!!
A little bit about Adhunika from its website: Adhunika blog is launched with a mission to share knowledge among women from every walk of life. Sometime it would be in the form of sharing experience to find a feasible solution of a problem; sometime it would be in the form of professional consultation, which Adhunika group will arrange for its bloggers. Nevertheless, the intent of this blog always remains the same – to help and empower women through a common web-based platform.
I am looking forward to get involve into this kind of organization more and get the chance of meeting those wonderful people more frequently

Evermore’s “Its too late” :
Monday morning… hesitate, I can’t get out of bed
I’d rather go back to the dreams I’m living in my head
Tuesday evening… pack my bags, I’m heading out the door
I left a box of memories lying on the floor
Ride on, ride till early morning sun
Ride on, like the dawning of the day
It’s too late, to let all your feelings show
Go on, til the night is swept away
I’m running from the city lights
I’m running from this empty life
I’m running out of time tonight
I’m screaming out for “Help! Help!”
“Slow down, your moving too fast
Go home, you’ll feel better for it
Oh boy, you better stop dreaming
It’s all in your head!”
‘Cause it’s too late now…
Ride on, ride till early morning sun
Ride on, like the morning of the day
It’s too late, to let all your feelings show
Go on, til the night is swept away…
Ride on, ride till early morning sun
Ride on, like the morning of the day
It’s too late, to let all your feelings show
Ride on, til the night is swept away…

I found some nice statements by some anonymous about life through online stumbling. here are they:
1. It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
2. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want in life.
3. It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.
4. The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves and not to twist them with our own image, otherwise we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.
5. The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along the way.
6.The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past. You can’t go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

I am in the mood of reading poems today…its friday…weekend is here ..so … a soothing happy mood
There is one poem I would like to post here: It’s the Journey that’s Important by John McLeod
Life, sometimes so wearying
Is worth its weight in gold
The experience of traveling
Lends a wisdom that is old
Beyond our ‘living memory’
A softly spoken prayer:
“It’s the journey that’s important,
Not the getting there!”
Ins and outs and ups and downs
Life’s road meanders aimlessly?
Or so it seems, but somehow
Leads us where we need to be,
And being simply human
We oft question and compare….
“Is the journey so important
Or the getting there?”
And thus it’s always been
That question pondered down the ages
By simple men with simple ways
To wise and ancient sages….
How sweet then, quietly knowing
Reaching destination fair:
“It’s the journey that’s important,
Not the getting there!”

Yes!! Its really SAD when your future depends on a lottery
I came all the way to America from other side of the world Bangladesh to establish myself…my career… I finished my Masters nicely and got a nice job. Now to continue my work here, to build my career and improve my skills I need to have job visa!! Last year when my company applied for my job visa, there was huge amount of application and the US Immigration Services wonderfully selected the 65000 employee out of 150000 through a lottery system!! Unfortunately I was not selected
Becasue I did not finish my Masters before they apply for my job visa on Bachelor’s quota. There was no lottery on MS quota last year. Till now I am here in my student visa which will end soon.
This year my company again is applying for my job visa in Master’s quota and I was happily passing my days thinking I will definitely get selected this time. But the sad news is I came to know from my lawyer that this year it is highly ilkely that a lottery will take place for both Masters and Bachelor’s.
I have been always a lucky girl thorough out my life except for that lottery thing. I have never ever had any lottery fortune. And I don’t see any chance this time as well
Well….that my story for now…an uncertain future completely in the hand of God (lottery!!)!

This weekend we celebrated Women’s Day visitinig The Metropolitan Museum of Art. also called MET. It was raining heavily on Saturday but three of us still decided to spend some in the world of history and arts
The place where it is located is a very nice place near Central park. The area looks very historical and rich. The Met’s permanent collection contains more than two million work of arts. I am not a great fan of art history so I did not enjoy the museum as much as I enjoyed the National Space and Air museum. However there were some collections that really attracted me and I spent some nice time there. The painting collection by Claude Monet and Van Gogh were really amazing. Those oil painting were mind blowing. Some of the painiting were so abstract that standing infront of them for a long time to grasp the idea result in only one thing : “My feet hurts
“
The work of arts from Ancient Egypt was quite cool. There was one section called “Favorite Classical” which fall under Modern Art has collection of nice pieces of furniiure. And very surprisingly there was a very simple chair. I stared it for a while and could not realize the story behind it (no story behind it is written).
Anyway, visiting the museum gave me one good realization that you have to have very different view and deep understanding of arts to really understand these collection and purely enjoy it
I think am not good at this. But I did enjoy the time! Atleast knowing that there are some pieces that I could never understand is a self discovery
Here is the link to some of the pics we have taken at MET: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24503546@N03/

My office is on 29th floor, and you can’t imagine the views that I have
Today its a very cloudy weather and windy. I somehow manged to get into my office while wind was trying to fly me to the other side
Well, when I get into my cubicle what I saw was spectecular!! The clouds are flying by my window. BTW, my cubic is just near the window so i gotta see all these mind blowing views. And you won’t believe how fast the clouds were passing through my window and I was feeling as if I am flying with them!
This was awesome!! I remeber long time back, I visited a hilly place called Ruma in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was around 10 years back. My first ever journey by car to a hilly place. I remeber enjoying each and every momnet of it. As the car was climbing the hills, the higher we were the clouds were getting closer. That was the first time I saw clouds so close. I could not believe my eyes!! We stppoed our cars at some point and I could not believe that the cloud was passing through me (literally!!). This was one memorarble journey.
I know, sitting in a cubicle on 29th floor with bundles of work in your plate, the cloud is not as cherishable as it was back them. But atleast you get a glimse of relax and heavenly touch

Struggling for your goals …struggling with your limitation is extremely hard but not impossible. The most importatnt thing is FOCUS. The more focused you are the easier it is for you to struggle. One of the main reason we fail to fight till the end is we are not focused at our desitanaion, goal or whatever we want to achieve. This is my personal observation. There are other things that might seem important to others but I find ”Focusing” to be most critical thing.
Till this date of my life, I have seen people overcoming many obstacles and on the other hand people who could not deal with small problems. And one of the most important thing those failures were missing was “Focusing”. They were never stable nor focused.
Again, being focused is another struggle that we deal with. Sometimes even if we have strong aims and particular goals we fail to stick to it, we loose our focus. To stick to what we want, to stay focused we need to fight with our limitations. Sometimes we fail to catch the reason behind our failures. And we give up. Another big element to keep struggling is ‘never giving up’ whatever the situation is…we should never give up!!
Offcourse we are human beings and offcourse we will loose our ways….we will definitely have millions limitation …thousands obstacles…but we should make sure that we tried….we tried our best…we struggle and struggle as much as we could…..we should never stopr trying unless we die……
“Woods are lovely dark and deep
I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep” – by Robert Frost
[All these are my personal believes and opnions]
